Look after yourself before and after your tattoo.

Moisturize your tattoo when needed.

Clean the area around your tattoo or any surface your tattoo may lean on clean.

Keep your tattoo out of the sun whenever possible. Cover with clothing or wear sunscreen (be sure the tattoo is fully healed)

Ask for a touch-up if necessary

Treat your tattoo like a wound during the healing process.

Wash your tattoo

DONT:

Pick or scratch at your new tattoo. The tattoo you just paid for will become a temporary, blotchy one.

Go swimming in any body of water; Pool, Ocean, Lake, River, Spa etc. Showers are okay.

Use a heavy fragrant or exfoliating wash to clean your tattoo. A tattoo-specific wash or a gentle wash only.

Scrub your tattoo. Even if flakey. The skin will heal with gentle care.

Use any lotion or moisturizer on your new tattoo. Please stick with what your artist recommends.
